The self-proclaimed queen of dance said she was a talented choreographer who does not depend on one dance move, but has a bag of tricks to please her fans.
“I can’t wait to give my fans a good show. People keep talking about the bottle dance, but we have new dance routines and they should look forward to seeing them on Saturday,” she told reporters in an interview.
Bev’s music career blossomed after the release of her debut album title Tapinda, which also introduced her new Foshoro dance.
The album, done with help of South African singer Freddy Gwala, also introduces former Utakataka Express chanter Shiga Shiga who is now an integral part of Bev’s group.
Bev said she loved performing in Bulawayo and this time she is coming as an improved artiste after holding a number of shows throughout the country.
“We always try to come up with new things at our shows. We don’t like disappointing our fans that is why we have been busy perfecting our skills,” she said.
Bev said she has a new team which is capable of giving top drawer performances and fans should expect to see Shiga Shiga in action.
“Shiga has brought experience to the group and he has helped us a lot on live shows. We are lucky to have him in our group,” she said.
The dancer, despite criticism from some sections of society, has remained unfazed and has continued with the controversial gyrations.
